Memory Verse

“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”— Genesis 1:31 (KJV)

Say it: “God made it all”

Do it: Sweep both arms wide across the sky.

Monday

Open: Thank You, God, for today.

Read: Story: God made the whole world — light, sky, sea, land, sun, moon, and animals (Genesis 1, story-Bible page).

God Made a Good World — Monday

In the very beginning, there was nothing at all — no sky, no sea, no trees, no animals. Then God made everything! He made the light and the dark, the sky and the water, the land and the plants. He made the sun, the moon, the stars, and all the animals. When God finished, He looked at it and said it was very good. God made it all!

Talk about:

  • Who made the whole world? (God!)
  • Was everything God made good? (Yes — very good!)

Remember: "God made it all" — sweep both arms wide across the sky.

Pray: Thank You, God, for making our beautiful world.
